Tavern on 6

First let me say that our server Ben was fantastic! He was attentive, knowledgeable, personable and readily available. My dad went since we had been wanting to try it out, they will not have the brunch menu for boat season but it was a great variety of foods. We both had a burger and side salad, for simple fare it was exceptionally good. High quality ingredients and very well seasoned. We will be back to try dinner.

Delightful evening at Tavern on 6. They have a nice outdoor seating area with heat lamps and last night, live music. Host and server were great. Delicious food, try the pimento cheese brûlée, way far from healthy but yummy. Note for veggies - not an overwhelming selection, but there are a couple of options.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. My wife and I started with a Chianti and an appetizer recommended by Molly, our server. App was a melted Brie with roasted tomato. So good! Molly suggested the shrimp and ribs. The ribs were drizzled with Alabama white sauce. If you’ve never had that, you need to try it! I had the mahi-mahi on a bed of wild rice. Baked to perfection. Almost forgot their homemade pickle slices that had just a little spice kick to them. Molly was a really enjoyable server too. You could tell she like her job and was good at it.

I was super excited about trying this place because i have never been. Me and friends decided to try. The atmosphere was very nice. We did make reservations. It was very packed. The menu had a good bit of options. I decided to try the fried Brussels sprouts as a appetizer. They were really good. Had a sweet sirachi glaze. They were very crunchy and filled with flavor. Then for my dinner i ordered the woodford smoked chicken thighs. They were really good. The flavor was immaculate. The thighs were really big. The fries were fresh and good as-well. The food came out about 20 min. The waiter was really nice and very knowledgeable with the menu choices. For desert i ordered the brownie that came with ice cream. This was the highlight of the night. It finished the meal perfectly. Can’t wait to go back and try other options. I would love to go when it’s not as pack. The space was very crowded and took a good minute to get the food. Other than that i really enjoyed myself look forward to going back.

I don’t even know where to begin. The restaurant is gorgeous, beautifully decorated but has a very laid back, inviting vibe. The staff including the host, server, bartender, & manager were all incredibly friendly & provided great service. The food was AMAZING. We had 4 appetizers, 2 entrees, & 6 different types of cocktails between me & my husband. EVERYTHING was wonderful. & I do mean everything. We will definitely be returning. Pictured are the skewed shrimp & fried oyster appetizer, the caprese & Brie dip appetizer, our NY strip entree, & our Espresso Martini & Banana Pudding White Russian dessert cocktails 😋
