I’ve been here a handful of times between the change in ownership. Never a negative atmosphere. It’s right down the st so it’s convenient. My only complaint that’s worth ranting over is the cover charge. Came in tonight (a Sunday around 5 pm) just to get a drink and get out the house for a bit. And even with 10 patrons in the entire bar they charged me $5 to get in. I think it’s crazy when no other bar in the area has a cover and they all range similar in prices, as well as atmosphere etc.
We were at ICE around 6:30, before the Colt's game; not many patrons were in the bar/restaurant yet. We were just looking for a new place to try for dinner, so we were only there an hour.
The bartender/server was pleasant and attentive. No bad marks for service.
I had a Philly Burger, and my husband had Chicken Tenders, his typical fare. Both came with fries, though that wasn't shown on the menu. My burger had good flavor; I just would have preferred the onions and peppers be more tender. My husband said chicken was better than he expected. We both loved the fries, and our breaded mushroom appetizer was just OK.
They didn't have my first two choices of beer, but I enjoyed a half-price pint of Samuel Adams Octoberfest, so I was content. My husband had Diet Coke. I think an easy win for improvement would be if they served the soda in a bigger glass instead of a small-ish disposable cup.
Overall, I'd go back.
