Buck's Diner

We were part of a group of 12 that ate here for dinner. Since it was a large group, we pre-ordered baked steak for the group.

The steak was tender, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were very tasty. The dinner also came with green beans.

There were a few other tables of customers, and only 1 waiter, but we had great service.

The outside of the restaurant is very plain, so you need other forms of information to know this place is worth a stop. I got a copy of the menu, as my husband and I would now consider coming back knowing what it's like.

Absolutely amazing. Wife and I are picky and we were just blown away. The hot roles and pot roast were amazing, mashed potatoes excellent and pie was very good as well. Service was perfect.

We went to Buck's for a very laye lunch. I had the Ruben. It was hot and delicious. They have pizzas to go.

We have been making sure to avoid the chains and to eat local. Great food .... great service ... don't mind paying a buck for ice water (the dishwasher needs a paycheck too.)

Do NOT pass this place up.
Seems to be open 7 days a week.

The pancake was good. The Southern Bowl didn't have enough potato for all the gravy. Would've gotten four stars with more potatoes. Would've gotten five stars if the potatoes were shredded. The service was great. The place was very clean. If I'm ever back in that area, I'd try more things on the menu.
