La Doble M Restaurant & Bar

My husband and I flew into McAllen for a 2 day business trip. We were in town about 2 hours when he became ill. After getting him settled at the hotel I set out to find some dinner after a long day of travel. When my restaurant of choice was closed, the Lyft driver suggested La Doble M because it was nearby. I’m SO glad I tried it! I usually hate dining alone, but my server Jose made sure I felt comfortable and visited with me several times for a moment despite being very busy. The guacamole was fresh and absolutely delicious. The sour dough rolls were to die for! I looked over the tray of steaks and chose a beautifully marbled ribeye. It was cooked to absolute perfection and served piping hot. For sides I chose grilled mushrooms and Mac & cheese and both were delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was upscale but not uncomfortable. I would recommend La Doble M for special celebrations, date night, or any time you want an elevated dining experience. Be sure to ask for Jose; you will love him!

Came for dinner/drinks and had the best experience. Service and food was amazing. I had their tacos fajita and they did not disappoint. They were very well served. I highly recommend this place for dinner or just a night our for drinks. Their Rooftop bar is awesome as well.

Very nice restaurant with prime service. I ordered the Cochinita and rib eye chicharrón, the cochinita was full of flavor, but with too much fat, the Chicharrón was excellent.

My family had dined there on Friday night and our server Jose Hernandez did an excellent job. He attended our needs in a timely manner and treated us with the up most respect! Well done! 💯
