Restaurant is located by a gas station. Area is not so great. But food is good, especially Goan delicacies like Chicken Xacuti, fish fry etc. Biryani is also good. The restaurant has plenty of seating.
It’s a dive, a little Goan restaurant the locals appear to love. Family run, food was fresh. Chapatis amazing. I had the shrimp curry, spicy 🌶️ but nice. Authentic chai, i just wish Styrofoam can be completely banned! One has to look past the decor- it’s all functional. Food is good. 👍
A place to stop by if in the area.
I found this place okay. We drove for 1 hour to this place in hope of having good Indian seafood dishes. The prawns were good but Pomfret Rechado was little sweeter side, instead of telling them to make it spicy. Bombay duck Rawa fry was okay.
Overall average.
We were visiting in Houston. It’s perfect spot for Indian fish curry or fish fry lovers. Nice ambience too. Really appreciated Victor’ hospitality..🙏
Viva Goa is such a hidden gem in the Houston area. They specialize and are serving up dishes that are not so common to find in Indian restaurants in the US. It was a pleasure to dine here and the food was great. We tried the Beef Croquettes, Bombay Duck Fry, Chicken Xacuti and Pork Sorpotel. Everything was so delicious. A must visit to try Goan food if you are in the area!
