Rocky Ridge (PIT)

So much improved since I was there maybe a yr ago. Ordered BBQ sandwich plate which came with beans, cole slaw, and loaded potato salad. It was all delicious and one plate was 2+ meals for me.

This is a small establishment with only 6 or so tables, so if it gets busy there might be some difficulty eating in. Seemed to be slow while we were there at 3pm, so service was quick.

The food was good. You could smell the smokers from outside and they imbued their flavor well into the smoked meats. The burgers were well cooked and flavorful, and the chicken was smokey. I'm not sure what spices were put on the chicken, but it wasn't for me. I preferred the chicken without the skin and spices. One chicken leg was tender and the other not so much so. The pulled pork had delicious smoke flavor but was a bit dryer than I would have liked. The BBQ sauce did help to give that juiciness that I like in pulled pork and had a good level of spicy heat!

The staff was polite and had interesting photographs and memorabilia from locals in the area. Would eat here again if I was in the area to try what else is on the menu. Excellent job!

Yummy and yummy! New bbq restaurant just outside of Camden Tennessee off 641...good slaw, potato salad, BBQ sandwich and beans. Each item has a unique add of flavor and texture. Try them I'll be back for sure!!

Some of the best BBQ that I've had in quiet awhile. A true test of any BBQ is how it tastes without anything-just meat. I took a plug right out of the package. Wow, great, smoky flavor. The sauce compliments the meat as it adds another level to the taste. The baked beans & mayo slaw put the meal over the top. I will definitely sleep well tonight as my taste for BBQ has been satisfied for at least tonight. Leftovers are for another day - something to look forward to.

Fantastic! I will be back for sure. Got a chicken plate and the BBQ nachos. Usually don't care for chicken at BBQ places, but I got it due to ribs not being ready yet and it was very good. Best BBQ I've had in a long time. Sides and nachos were great too!
