New York Pizza of Alexandria

This time last year I was in Philadelphia, obviously I had a cheese steak downtown.
Yesterday evening I went to New York Pizza, Alexandria, and ….. no competition, this local joint does BETTER cheese steaks than the famous Philly joints!

Was looking to feed 3 hungry kids and 2 adults after a long Saturday of family fun....called New York Pizza and was told they have a Saturday special....one large pizza with one topping for $16 then you get a free large cheese pizza but you can add toppings to your liking.....so the kids got their pizza and the adults got to customize their large pizza...it was amazing..so much cheese and the toppings were fresh...they even sauté the onions...the slices are huge..when we were done the 3 kids had ate half their pizza and the 2 adults had 1 slice over half left....however as we waited for our pizza I noticed they had fresh slices of lasagna and even have 4 pieces of fried fish with fries for $4.99 and even a 4 piece fried chicken meal for $5.99 .....ya can't beat these prices....and it taste amazing....so, give this place a try....you will be amazed!

Just like a little pizza joint in NYC. Unpretentious and good pizza. The owner is very friendly and super sweet. He will treat you right!! We had a large pizza, half pepperoni, half meat lover, plus garlic knots, cheesecake and flan. I'd order all again.

This is an amazing place to eat. From the moment we walked in Mr. Uno and his partner from Palestine and I apologize up front for forgetting his name they were welcoming and super friendly. This was our first time there and the food was amazing, and tasty. We ordered several things such as chicken wings, fish, fries, calzone, pizza and a pasta and all of it was delicious. We love this place and will definitely come back to eat and see Mr Uno and his partner from Palestine. I give them, the food and the store a 10 out of 10!

Oh my goodness what a gem of Alexandria! Pizza really was "The Works"!! Mozzarella was supreme. Baklava was such a fun surprise. And the owner was sweet & friendly. I miss places like this! Will definitely return next time I'm in Alex.
