Sweet Sadie May's

Hidden gem. Stopped in to get a balanced meal. It's not a food line, so you can't see the food before you buy it. However, I can assure you that you would not be disappointed. I received a small sample of collards, cabbage ,pinto beans, and mac and cheese while I waited. I felt like I had been transported back in time to Grandma's sunday dinner. All seasoned with love and not too salty. The staff was extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable. Looking for a home cooked option .. look no further.

Absolutely love this place. We were greeted pleasantly by Ms. Sadie May herself. There’s a sign that mentions this food is made with love and I believe it! I ordered one thing and then Ms. Sadie gave us a tester of the sides and oh boy! I had to add the Mac and Collard greens to take back to Gwinnett with me. The food was DELICIOUS and her customer service on top of that made me feel the love! Thank you Ms.Sadie May, I will be back.

My review is beyond late but I had to still stop by. I went here on a recommendation, it was about a 30 min drive from where I stay so I was really nervous about wasting my time, gas, and money lol… BUTTTTT I was not disappointed upon arrival. Service was quick, pleasant, took about 10-15 to get our food; it was hot and fresh. I got to meet one of the owners (or family of) and they were easygoing, humble people. The food was good! We got the Turkey wing meal and the Meatloaf meal (I couldn’t take the best pics of the meatloaf plate cause my mom was ready to chow down lol), we sat and ate a bit before taking it home to devour. I def will be back again! I gotta get some more of that meatloaf (I had a taste of my moms and wanted to trade meals lol) and try a few other items!

Ignore the partly eaten cornbread by me. You know the food is extra good when the plate is leaking in the bag. I used to live 10 minutes away from this restaurant, but now live about an hour away in Duluth. Told my wife today I’m going back to bring us back veggie plates and they did not disappoint!! Food was absolutely delicious as when I first visited it. Thank you staff for the awesome service
